One of the biggest events of Salem’s year is the Annual Auction and Flea Market. This fund-raiser has become a local tradition and attracts many from the Lehigh Valley region. Thanks to the hard work of our students and staff and the generous donations of our church, school, and neighborhood communities, this 2-day event offers a wide variety of items and great values.
Usually held the first weekend of June, the festivities begin with the very popular Silent Auction and Gift Certificate Auction on Friday evening, along with a delicious chicken dinner. The main auction, offering everything from antiques, furniture, vehicles, tools and equipment, to household items, is held on Saturday. The Flea Market, open both days, offers thousands of items. A variety of foods and baked goods is also available. A large playground and various games for children of all ages makes this event a great family time.
