Salem Christian School Communications
In order to cut down on paper usage and to model the effective use of technology to our school families, Salem Christian School frequently uses electronic communications. Parents are reminded and encouraged to use the school website to regularly access up-to-date information, including calendar changes, weather delays, athletic game changes, field trips, and other special announcements. We wish to keep our families fully informed regarding the many activities that are part of school life.
General school news is communicated via the school website, mailings, newsletters, and phone calls. Selected information is sent home with students or via direct mail. Any communication in the name of Salem Christian School must first comply with the following steps:
- Administrative approval of events or programs -
Coordinate with and gain approval for any event or program with the appropriate faculty, staff, or administrator.

Contact the school office to have an item posted on the school’s website. Please note that website submissions are subject to administrative approval, and the school retains the right to edit any material for clarity and accuracy. Contact Us
Communication of Non-School Related Information:
Requests to distribute information from outside school events will be considered on an individual basis. While it is our desire to pass along information that our families would appreciate, any such information must be for the benefit of community efforts and non-profit, charitable entities. Advertising of for-profit events and businesses is not acceptable.
Items incorporating the school name and/or school logo, or communicating school-related information, must be approved by the administration before production or distribution. This includes letters, flyers, notices, publications, T-shirts, spirit items sold for fund raising, merchandise, and anything created by faculty, staff, coaches, parents, or students, which uses the Salem name or logo.
