Committed to making a difference:
The teaching and support staff at Salem Christian School is made up of a diverse and multi-talented group of believers who first love the Lord and who have committed their talents to carrying out God’s commands “…to teach their children so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget His deeds but would keep His commands.” (Psalm 78:5-7)
That commitment to Christian schooling, and to the young people in their care, is evidenced by both parents and students as expressed in surveys and oft-heard comments.
"A child going to Salem Christian School knows that they are loved and cared for. They also don’t have to be concerned with other pressures as found in many other schools.”
“The staff at Salem Christian School encourages their students to do what is right, and they encourage their colleagues in the same things. They are nice, friendly people, and they want to serve the Lord. They always try to show a Christ-like attitude and are a good example to their students. They also do a great job teaching their subject, and they are willing to help us if we have questions.”
“Not only have I formed deep relationships with my fellow classmates and other students in the school, but also with the faculty and staff. The teachers at Salem Christian School have been more loving and supportive than any other teachers I have encountered before. They truly show a genuine care and love for their students, which is something that I have come to deeply respect. I wish to one day make an impact on others like they have on me.”
“At first glance, Salem might just seem like a tiny school on a hill, but it is much more than that! The people that are involved with Salem make it the school I want to attend. The faculty genuinely cares about the students.”
“The teachers at Salem really care about you personally, not just your grades.”
At Salem, we take seriously the charge to strive at all times to understand, appreciate, love, and serve the pupils entrusted to us for instruction, and to the best of our ability provide for their fullest spiritual, intellectual, physical, and emotional development.
