Currently we have the following positions:


Music Teacher (K-12)

Salem Christian School is seeking inspired and dynamic music teacher to join our team and provide a top quality education for all of our students. We are looking for a candidate that is a devoted follower of Christ that brings the Christian worldview alive in an authentic way while teaching students. Additionally, we are looking for a candidate that can employ 21st century teaching practices in a vibrant music classroom for kindergarten through grade twelve students.

  • Work closely with school leaders to analyze student assessment data to measure progress and use data to inform instruction
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents for the betterment of the students and school
  • Engage families in their children’s education by building relationships and maintaining regular communication

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with a record of personal, professional, and/or academic achievement
  • Teacher certification- completed or in process
  • Determination to drive student achievement and set high expectations for all students
  • Demonstrated expertise in subject area

 


Art Teacher (K-12)

Theater Director

We are currently searching for a person(s) with experience and abilities to produce a quality theatrical  production in the spring of the 2018-2019 school year.


Extended Care:

We are currently searching for  a few people to work within our extended care program after school.  Please contact the office if you are interested.


Substitute Teacher:  

Usually our substitutes are scheduled well in advance.  Currently, we are in great need of a substitutes for our classrooms.  Please contact the school if you are interested in this rewarding and flexible position.
