Our mission is to “develop students who love God with all their mind, body, and soul”. In an effort to support our mission in all we do and still be true to our mission, we have a SCS Serve-a-Thon! This event raises needed funds for scholarships and program growth while supporting a core component of the school, service.
In previous years the event has been a big success; the students had a week full of awesome opportunities to serve others, and we raised a significant amount of money toward our school expansion. We hope that this year’s Serve-a-Thon will also provide much-needed funds for a quality Christ-centered education, and be another opportunity for us to reach out to our community, sharing the love of Christ by serving others in practical ways.
During May our whole school will be serving the surrounding community and beyond in a variety of ways.
Salem Christian School is continuing to grow and expand. We have purchased our new classrooms, but we still need funds to completely outfit them, and we are working toward much-needed gym renovations like a new floor and bleachers. So, the Serve-a-thon continues to be a crucial fundraiser for our school. We need your help to make it a great success. Through this Serve-a-thon we are hoping to raise the funds needed for these projects and leave an impact on our community with our service.
